Leaves are long and blistered with dark green colouring. Tolerates both heat and cold. High vitamin content. Quite ornamental.
An open pollinated cultivar producing a good central head followed by prolific side shoots. Must be sown early to late summer (cold) or into early autumn (temp & trop) for success.
A fast growing variety ready 10 to 12 weeks after transplanting. Best sown December and January (cold). Not suited to hot districts.
