RHUBARB (Seed) 55 s/g
(Rheum rhabarbarum). Sow in groups of 3 to 4 seeds, 30 cm apart, directly into well-manured soil in early spring. Keep well watered, selecting the best plants for growing on.

This cultivar has excellent size, but requires harsh selection to get good coloured stems. Easily raised from spring sowings.
1874: Glaskins Perpetual
An older variety with medium stems of good colour. Still produces well in cooler weather.
