CUCUMBERS 30-35 s/g
(Cucumis sativus). Sow 1 cm deep October to December (cold), September to January (temp), August to March (trop), after all danger of frost has passed. Needs fertile soil. Keep plants well watered and pick fruit before they begin to yellow. Avoid transplanting.

1477: African Horned Cucumber
Not to Western Australia. This unusual cucumber has unique Golden “Horned” fruit growing to 10 cm. long. Green flesh has a taste of the tropics. Can be used as a dessert. It may not fully mature in cold areas. Packets only.
