SPROUTS AND MICRO MIXES
Sprouts and Micro mix supply cheap, easily grown, nutritious and tasty fresh “greens”. They are high in Vitamins, minerals plus proteins and enzymes required for healthy growth. Some have high levels of antioxidants.
Sprouts are usually grown without soil in a sprouter or jar with the whole sprout being used at the cotyledon or seed leaf stage. Micro mix is grown in a seed tray and harvested by cutting at soil level when the first true leaf appears.
Both are used in a similar manner, and can be grown year round.
All the seed offered below is of high germination and is Chemical free. They have been selected for their sprouting qualities, not their horticultural attributes as in the mature crop.
